English TalkieThis policy covers the English Talkie Android app and the website englishtalkie.com. English Talkie is made by Piyush Sachdeva (BBIGCHEESE), SAS Nagar, Punjab, India. In short: there are no accounts, your practice stays on your phone, and the free version shows ads from Google AdMob.
1. What we do not collect
English Talkie has no sign-up or login. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, audio or microphone input, or precise location.
2. What stays on your phone
Your practice rounds, saved sentences, sentences to review, report card, chosen language and level are stored only on your device (Android DataStore in the app, browser storage on the website). They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes them.
3. Sentence updates
The app downloads new practice sentences from englishtalkie.com. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address to deliver these files. We do not use it to identify you, and no practice data is sent with these requests.
4. Advertising (free version of the app)
The free app shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address (and an approximate location derived from it), device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google processes this under its own Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and some US states), the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change that choice at any time from "Ad privacy settings" on the Progress tab. On any Android phone you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
The website englishtalkie.com does not show ads.
5. Purchases (English Talkie Pro)
English Talkie Pro is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card, UPI or bank details. The app receives a purchase confirmation from Google Play (the product, the purchase status and a purchase token) only to unlock Pro and restore it if you reinstall.
6. Website
The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
7. Children
English Talkie is meant for teenagers and adults learning English. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Security and changes
All data the app sends or receives over the internet is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
